Accessing former YPF courses
Young People in Focus training courses covered two broad topic areas:
- Working with vulnerable young people
- Working with parents/carers
Working with vulnerable young people training included : abuse and neglect; anxiety and depression; mental health; preventing suicide; professional boundaries; resilience; self-esteem; self-harm; working with young fathers/parents etc.
Working with parents/carers training included : facilitators’ courses on using YPF’s evidence-based parenting programmes Take 3, ESCAPE, and Challenging Years! plus group work skills in work with parents and courses on supporting the parents of adolescents.
Some of these courses will continue to be available through independent trainers. Should you wish to commission training based on a former YPF course please contact:
