A one-day training course
The course is for anyone wanting to build key skills in communicating with and listening to young people. The course is experiential and skills based, with lots of opportunity for practicing the skills and reflecting on their use in your work with young people.
The course covers:
- The role of counselling skills with young people
- What young people need
- Listening and responding to difficult feelings
- Counselling skills practice sessions
- Asking helpful questions
