This course introduces the key ideas and techniques in solution focussed approaches when working with young people. These have proved to be very successful with young people who are experiencing a variety of difficulties and with workers struggling to get through the ‘adolescent wall’. The course introduces techniques, questions and tools to use with young people which will help to establish and maintain positive relationships with them and promote positive change.  

The course covers:  

• The theory of solution focussed work
• The advantages and strengths
• Key tools and techniques
• Practical exercises to use with young people
• What helps?

Fees:
Statutory, independent and large voluntary organisations: £155
Individuals and small voluntary organisations: £125
Young People in Focus standard cancellation charges apply.
