Accreditation top-up training for existing
ESCAPE facilitators
9 December 2009 (London)
22 April 2010 (Manchester)
16 July 2010 (Glasgow)
It is becoming increasing important for parenting practitioners to be comprehensively trained in the delivery of parenting programmes to ensure that programme fidelity is maintained and quality standards ensured. The National Academy of Parenting Practitioners promote the development of training for facilitators that is accredited by the programme developers.
In line with these recommendations, Young People in Focus will launch a new training for ESCAPE facilitators in September 09 which offers an opportunity for participants to become accredited. This will be a three day course. Following the course and an initial delivery of an ESCAPE programme, participants can submit a portfolio for assessment and apply to become accredited facilitators.
We are offering this one day top-up training in order to extend this opportunity to existing Escape facilitators who has previously attended an ESCAPE facilitator’s course.
The day will:
- provide opportunities to review your practice
- refresh your knowledge of ESCAPE principles and delivery model
- prepare you to apply to become an accredited facilitator.
All participants will receive guidelines for the portfolio requirements when booking on the course.
Fees:
Statutory, independent and large voluntary organisations: £180
Individuals and small voluntary organisations: £150
Young People in Focus standard cancellation charges apply.
