It is full of good, practical ideas, and stresses that young fathers need to be engaged with, both systematically and on their own terms. It shows convincingly that when young fathers are offered reliable and sensitive support, the impact on them, their children and their families, can be profound"

David Bartlett, Fathers Direct

The key feature is its attention to the practical details that directly interest practitioners. It conveys the voices of those working with young fathers, and explores how practitioners can most effectively be helped on the often complex and difficult issues they have to deal with.
